The Thief

It's a wonderfully cozy day out today (lots of rain) so it must be time for more art posting.

This is the 5th drawing/video from a series I did where I portray people as characters that represent their personality. This one features the very talented tattoo artist Veronique Gray (she's talented in many other artistic venues as well). You can see some of her work here!

So enjoy the video linked below and some more art!

The Cowboy

This is the Second of a drawing series I did a few years ago. This one is featuring my buddy Dave Janzen as "The Cowboy".

The concept of the series was to to portraits of people and convey their personality by portraying them as an "archetype". I used yarn to highlight the archetyped character part of the portrait.

Check out the stop-animation I made to go along with it! It's pretty awesome! (that's what my mom said!)

The Clown

This is the first of a drawing series I made. The concept of the series was to to portraits of people and convey their personality by portraying them as an "archetype". I used yarn to highlight the archetyped character part of the portrait.

This is of my good friends Dave Laframboise as "The Clown". There is also an accompanying stop-motion video showing it getting made. Enjoy!
